Your role

Due to some internal movement over to the new Loddon Care Hub we have 4 case manager roles now available. You will join the home based care team, made up of 5 teams, 41 people, 6-8 people on each team. A caseload of up to 12 young people, but we try to keep it down to 8. Lots of contact with our children and young people and the amazing carers.

About you

NB: We can offer support and training in these areas to new graduates

  • Experience or knowledge of Best Interest Principles as outlined within the Children, Youth and Families Act 2005
  • Ability to provide children and young people with supportive placements whilst maintaining safety
  • A commitment to working with vulnerable children young people and families who have experienced trauma

Qualifications

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Social Work or related discipline at degree level or diploma level with experience relevant to child welfare

The important stuff

  • Salary $82,000 to $86,000 plus super plus salary packaging (Level 5 SCHCADS)
  • Flexible office locations: Bendigo, Kyneton or Maryborough
