Life’s made of moments. Anglicare Victoria faces them head on. Moments of crisis, moments of change, moments of magic. Moments that make up the everyday, or change the course of a person’s life. Some are quiet, some are loud. Some are happy, some are sad. Whether fire or flood. Belief or despair. Joy or grief. We’re there.
Day in, day out, vulnerable people and families lean on Anglicare Victoria through these moments - from childhood to parenthood, and all the messy bits in between.
Support the delivery of services in the welfare and homeless sector. You will need to understand and respond to clients’ needs, in order to deliver and adapt services to support client outcomes. To be successful you will need to use your knowledge of the services offered to people that are homeless or disenfranchised in the welfare sector including the impact of environmental factors affecting homeless and emergency relief.
An excellent opportunity for a dynamic and passionate support worker to join our South West team and assist in the delivery of local programs and services including our Drop In Centre and Emergency Relief program that support local clients and families in need.
What our people say. “There’s a kindness in the way the organisation deals with its people. It still feels like a smaller agency, with that sense that it has amazing influence, which is led from the top, but then there’s this respect between the regions as well. It’s like it’s family, but it's so influential in the industry as well.”
We would like to see you apply for the role before the closing date.
