The Position: 

The Functional Family Therapy FFT® - Youth Justice program within Anglicare Victoria's Northern Metro Region is recruiting to a full time ongoing position.

Functional Family Therapy is a short-term, evidence based intervention program that works intensively with families for an average of three to five months. FFT works primarily with young people aged 11 to 18 years who are referred by Youth Justice. 

To Be Successful in this Position You Will Need:

• Tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling or Family Therapy, (Post graduate studies highly regarded)
• Experience working with young people and families 
• A keen interest in furthering skills in Family Therapy modalities as the successful candidate will be trained in FFT.
• A passion for working with families in an intensive outreach capacity within their homes and communities
• An interest in evidenced based practice and model fidelity adherence
• Strong capacity to maintain up to date and high quality administrative tasks 
• Flexible availability- (after hours work required to accommodate families needing after school and work sessions)
• Candidate must have a Drivers License
