Your role

Our Human Resources Business Partners have an in depth knowledge of industrial relations, the relationship between services and People and Culture and are able to influence, model, advise and empathise with those stakeholders that require expert support from the role.

This role will support the east region with offices across the Inner and Outer Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, the primary of which is located in Box Hill, by partnering with key stakeholders to provide generalist HR support and guidance across all areas of the business, from residential care to executive management.

This role is supported by a larger P&C team including 5 other HR Business Partners.

About you

We are looking for those who share our passion for supporting Children, Young People and Families, combined with:

  • Past success as a HR Business Partner in a services based organisation
  • An appropriate HR Qualification and/or HR Certification with AHRI (or with a commitment to undertake in the next 12 months).
  • Demonstrated experience across the full life-cycle of employment including award interpretation, employee relations, diversity and performance management.
  • The ability to build positive and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders using a business partnering model
  • Proven ability to coach, develop and share knowledge with others.
  • The ability to work autonomously, independently and efficiently under pressure.

  • Permanent position
  • Salary is $62,447 at 0.6FTE plus super plus access to salary packaging to increase your take home pay
  • Flexibility to negotiate days that suit you, 3 days per week
  • This is a fast paced role
  • Hybrid working model with work from home and office days required
  • Office location is flexible at Collingwood, Box Hill or Lilydale
