Your role:

An exciting and unique opportunity has arisen for an Return to Work and Occupational, Health & Safety Coordinator to come on board at Anglicare Victoria in a newly created position, ready for you to make your own!.

Return to work will form half of your role ensuring we take a dynamic approach to early intervention, you will also manage the WorkCover claims. The second part of your role will have you looking at OH&S more broadly, compliance activities, including auditing, improving our systems and processes, talking with our Managers and employees to understand risks and through these discussions identifying learnings and working with the broader People & Culture Team.

About you:

  • A passion for compliance in the safety space
  • you love a good process, and like driving efficiencies
  • You’ll be comfortable in explaining technical requirements in everyday language, explaining the why and discussing options
  • Experience with return to work duties
  • Experience with WorkCover claims in accordance with the Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2013
  • A team player and you have great time management skills

Qualifications:

  • A relevant qualification related to Occupational Health and Safety as well as experience with Return to Work. 

The important stuff:

  • Salary $80,000- $85,000 plus super plus salary packaging increasing your take home pay
  • Permanent full time or part time available
  • Based at our office in Collingwood with work from home days available
