Anglicare Victoria is seeking Youth Champions to support the delivery of Keep in Touch (KiT) project. This project focusses on improving the mental health and wellbeing of young people (12 – 25 years) across the Loddon Area.

The KiT project aims to support and empower young people across the Loddon Area to maintain good mental health and wellbeing through three key components:

  • Outreach Van
  • Mobile Application
  • Network of Youth Champions 

KiT Youth Champions will be the face of the program, heading out into the community with the Outreach Van to deliver the KiT Experience and engage in activities to promote positive mental wellbeing and help seeking behaviours.

In return for your input you will receive:

  • Training in mental health, governance, community engagement and public speaking.
  • Develop a range of skills including working in groups and representing the needs your peers.
  • Meet other young people passionate about youth mental health and wellbeing.
