About the Position

Based at Darwin, Winnellie and Berrimah, you will provide culturally competent and strengths based, casework and practical, hands-on support to individuals and families living in Garaworra Transitional Housing Service, and in the community whose tenancies are at risk.

In consultation with the Program Manager and other HOPP team members you will develop and implement a tenancy and life skills program through the provision of practical tenancy education, skills and tools to clients residing at Garaworra as well as clients in the community.

You will work collaboratively with internal and external programs to deliver a variety of Life Skills, as well as Social and Emotional Wellbeing programs at the Garaworra Transitional Accommodation Service.

An integral part of to the role is to work collaboratively with the Property and Tenancy Manager to ensure a supportive tenancy management service is provided at Garaworra Transitional Housing Service.

You will uphold the values of Anglicare NT and provide quality services within the scope of the position and associated delegations.

Please note: It is a requirement that prior to commencing in this role, you must possess a Working with Children (Ochre Card), a National Criminal History Check (within 3 months) and a current Northern Territory manual driver’s licence.
