This is part time, 0.5 FTE permanent opportunity for the role of Facilities Coordinator.

The Facilities Coordinator works under the direct supervision of the Support Services Manager to ensure the safe, compliant and effective management of ANMF (Vic) Branch assets and offices/properties.

The role includes resolving building maintenance issues, ensuring compliance with relevant legalisation and carrying out a range of administrative duties to optimise building performance and asset life, as well as support the alignment of facilities management with the Branch’s strategic plan.

The successful incumbent will achieve the following:

  • Maintain, schedule and ensure all contractors attending site are compliant, certified and accurately recorded to the appropriate systems, following relevant process.
  • Ensure that the work performed meets the relevant act and standards, including the collection of service reports and documentation related to compliance
  • Schedule approved preventative and ad hoc maintenance
  • Review and report invoicing from service providers for completed works against purchase orders, ensuring approvals are accurately recorded.
  • Generate and analyse building reports on a monthly basis from building management systems (BMS) and provide and recommend solutions of any identified issues to the Support Services Manager for approval.

Key Selection Criteria

  • A minimum 2 years’ experience in building management / facilities management.
  • Formal accredited qualification in a relevant field.
  • An understanding of the Building Act, Building Codes & Regulations and Australian Standards.
  • An understanding of maintenance procedures.
  • Excellent knowledge of OHS principles and safe working methods.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Proficiency and experience in facilities management systems.

Remuneration

Annual salary of Pro Rata, 0.5 FTE is $44,789 per annum plus 15% Super
