About the Role

Currently, we are seeking highly enthusiastic and experienced Support Workers to join our team to support recipients with a Home Care Package or receiving Short Term Restorative Care. The aim is to ensure that our recipients can participate meaningfully in their family and community life.

Work with a small, friendly and very supportive team where you will be highly valued for your contribution!

What we need from you:

  • Available for shifts between 8am-6pm during most days of the week (but we are prepared to be very flexible for the right person)
  • A strong desire to provide high quality client service and build meaningful relationships with recipients;
  • Ability to provide proof of full Covid Vaccination (as per annecto's policy)
  • Flexibility and ability to be adaptive;
  • Ability to provide assistance with housework including preparation of meals;
  • Experience supporting people with catheters is highly desirable;
  • Highly professional and able to act in a compassionate, non-judgemental manner;
  • Current police check less than 3 months old or willingness to undertake one with annecto;
  • Current First Aid (with 12 months to run) and CPR Qualifications (with 6 months to run) or willingness to complete prior to employment;
  • Current driver’s license and your own registered and insured vehicle.

What would be great to have:

  • Similar experience in a similar organisation.
  • A relevant qualification.
  • Able to speak a community language is highly desirable (Eg: Arabic and Serbian)
