The Continence Foundation of Australia is the national peak body for continence promotion, management and advocacy nationally. Representing the interests of the 4.8 million Australians affected by bladder and bowel control problems, as well as their families and carers, The Continence Foundation acts as an advocate for their interests. The Continence Foundation of Australia exists to serve all Australians by promoting good bladder and bowel health.

Reporting directly to the Clinical Services Manager, and with responsibility for the clinical staff based at the National Office, the successful candidate will support the organisation with current, evidence based, best practice advice, education and information related to continence and bladder and bowel control health. In addition you will support the programs and projects through the provision of clinical expertise and guidance.

Supporting the Clinical Services Manager, you will also provide clinical leadership and day to day management of the National Continence Helpline and the telehealth / disability clinical services to enable safe, high quality and effective consumer care.

Tertiary qualifications in Nursing or Physiotherapy are mandatory for the role as are post graduate qualifications and proven experience in continence assessment, management and care. In addition, a demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development with a focus on continence knowledge enhancement is also essential as are outstanding interpersonal and time management skills and an understanding of patient centred care and partnering with consumer principles.
