In Brief:

This not-for-profit is a house-hold name that makes an immeasurable difference to Australian's facing their darkest moments. Currently, they're focused on providing more support and resources online for internal teams and external customers. To do this, they're looking for a Digital Product Manager who can help them create a more seamless digital experience.

About the role:

As the Product Manager here you'll be partnering with the business to better understand current technologies, processes, and workflows for a suite of internal applications and make recommendations for a better future state. Most of the products are in-house tooling that is used to support contact centres, and longer term how they dovetail into the digital strategy externally.

You'll also take a lead role on ensuring that the technology roadmap and immediate decision making align with the delivery of an exceptional experience from both a service design and UX point of view.

An average day might look like:

  • Developing and implementing systems architecture that streamlines processes, tooling and technology.
  • Customer journey mapping, pulling together user experience flows looking to simplify processes, functionality and tooling.
  • Assessing the current state of the product eco-system and creating roadmaps, service blueprints and prototypes for the future state.
  • Facilitating and participating in workshops, developing strategies for products in conjunction with key stakeholders.
  • Working with the business to explain complex technical problems in a way that brings people on the journey.
  • Analysing feedback and analytics and defining success metrics for new initiatives.

About you:

With a strong understanding of service design and UX, you'll have a good handle on how to define problems and iterate through solutions. You'll have an eye for detail, and be able to look at research to support design rationale. Technically astute, you'll be able to to communicate the problem effectively to all stakeholders and bring them on the journey.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of service design principles and best practices
  • A track record of customer journey mapping and simplifying processes
  • A background establishing and maintaining product roadmaps
  • Experience with Jira, Trello, Notion, Slack and Agile processes highly regarded
  • Outstanding communication and organisation skills
