About the Opportunity:

The Customer Plan Officer supports the operational teams with the preparation and delivery of NDIS / DSOA and other funding quote requirements and evidence for submission to Aruma's Shared Living Billing Analyst Team. They are part of a team who implement an efficient, consistent, and quality focused approach to guide Regional Managers and their teams in the process of capturing all relevant customer activities and evidence to be incorporated into Customer's Plans to ensure the best possible outcomes are achieved for our customers.

  • Part of a team of Customer Plan Officers that strive for improved customer and business outcomes.
  • Implemented end processes that support the business to understand what best practice is in NDIS / DSOA and other funding submissions which focus on improving customer outcomes.
  • Implemented a consistent and nationalised Funding Submission approach that works effectively alongside the Shared Living Analyst team.
  • Implemented an effective monitoring approach that notifies Support Services of variations between submissions, recommendations, and bookings.
  • Working to consistent and nationalised approach that addresses and identifies solutions and actions where there are recognised variations between funding submissions, recommendations, and bookings.
  • To deliver every submission to external funding agencies on time and of high quality to ensure customer outcomes are maximised.
  • Remediation project work will have a customer-based approach to yield maximum outcomes for the customer where values differ significantly from submission.

What you need to be successful in this role….

  • A commitment to Aruma BRAVE values and the Code of Conduct.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in disability or related sector.
  • An understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme, the NDIS, Quality & Safeguarding Practice Standards, or other standards.
  • Previous experience in developing NDIS quotes and / or implementing NDIS plans.
  • Well-developed computer skills - MS Word, MS Excel, Power Point; including the capacity to learn new systems.
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service and business improvement.
  • Good Strong organisational skills, with demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise workload, handle multiple tasks and work efficiently and effectively to deadlines and respond to multiple and diverse stakeholders.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • A current Australian driver's licence.
  • Ability to travel intra or interstate as required.
