What success looks like…

Reporting to the Senior Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for the operation of Aruma's business infrastructure including hardware, systems & applications and the associated policies and procedures. This role entails responsibility for implementing, proactive management, testing and monitoring of the network peripherals and server operating systems.

  • Effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure.
  • Resolution of technical issues; research & development within the project life-cycle; technical analysis and design; and support of operations staff in executing, testing and rolling-out the solutions.

Skills and experience that make you stand out…

  • Bachelor (4-year) degree with technical major or tertiary technical qualifications.
  • 3 + years senior technical support or systems administration experience.
  • Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Networking Knowledge.
  • Experience with Virtualisation either VMWare or HYPER-V.
  • Office 365 Administration experience.
  • Azure administration experience.
  • Excellent problem solver.
  • Excellent communication skills. Ability to translate technical speak into plain English.
  • Solves most problems in own work and participates in wider problem identification and resolution tasks. Applies improvement processes.
  • Drafts recommendations and prepares relevant documentation on routine issues.
