About the role

Cook/ All Rounders are integral to the success of our Summerland Farm Restaurant, Café and supporting our employees with a disability. They effectively demonstrate experience and knowledge in commercial cookery to achieve business outcomes in a consistent; high quality standard of work to exceed customer satisfaction. They support the front of house operations ensuring efficient service delivery.

Key focus:

• Part time - 22.8hrs per week
• $25.10 per hour

Daily Task may insist of:

• Lead a small team of employees with a disability in restaurant FOH service, including:
• Greeting customers
• Use POS to take customer orders, handling cash & eftpos
• Delivering timely meals & beverages
• Maintaining contact with kitchen throughout service
• Setting up restaurant floor plans to suit functions
• Maintain clean and well stocked areas during service
• Pack down pf end of day operations
• Support chefs in the kitchen delivering restaurant products and services, including:
• Opening procedures
• Daily & weekly prep
• Operating during breakfast & lunch service
• Helping on dish
• End of day pack down procedures

Skills and Experience:

• Hold a current RSA certificate
• Hold a current driver's license
• Available to work weekdays, evenings & weekend
• Well presented
• Great communication skills
• Team focused
