The Australasian Society for HIV, Viral Hepatitis and Sexual Health Medicine (ASHM) is a professional, not-for-profit, member-based organisation. It supports its members, sector partners and collaborators to generate knowledge and action in clinical management and research, education, policy and advocacy in Australasia and internationally.
You will provide high-level administrative support to the Conference & Events Division, with a focus on organising and providing logistical support in the delivery of educational events and special projects as required. With your previous experience in either an events company or an office environment, you will have well-developed written communication skills and a high level of verbal communication skills, including a professional telephone manner. Candidates must be confident, with strong organisational skills, detail-oriented, the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and the ability to work within a team environment to meet strict deadlines and undertake a range of support functions.
ASHM is seeking candidates with tertiary qualifications, or enrolment in Health, Business Administration or Events Management, or equivalent experience. Excellent computer skills are also required, including data entry and database systems.
