The Australasian Society for HIV, Viral Hepatitis and Sexual Health Medicine (ASHM) is a professional, not-for-profit, member-based organisation. It supports its members, sector partners and collaborators to generate knowledge and action in clinical management and research, education, policy, and advocacy in Australasia and internationally.

About you

The Project Manager will provide quality project management for the Sexual & Reproductive Health Integration Project - Phase 2 (SRHIP 2) in Papua New Guinea (PNG). This position is a key role within ASHM's International Division and therefore will play an active role in business development, design and management of projects, budget planning and acquittal, management of partnerships and key stakeholder relationships and engagement with the international sector.

The Project Manager will be required to undertake travel to PNG and potential travel across the Asia Pacific region - however, this is subject to current Covid-19 restrictions and not required at this point.

With your extensive experience in the successful management of projects, budgets, contract compliance and reporting (activity and financial), you will apply your in-depth knowledge and understanding of international HIV, viral hepatitis and/or sexual and reproductive health to the management of international projects. With excellent interpersonal skills and previous experience of managing the development and delivery of clinical education and mentoring programs, you will be confident in establishing and maintaining stakeholder relationships at both an operational and strategic level. You will also be required to manage teams working across multiple projects.

The base/taxable salary is $90,786 per annum or total remuneration which includes full non-taxable fringe benefit salary packaging options equals $109,688 per annum.
