These are complex and intersecting areas that shine a light on the barriers faced by children in underserved communities to accessing quality education. With the help of our donors, we address education inequity by investing in schools facing disadvantage, with funding and capacity-building support, tailored to meet their unique needs and improve student outcomes.

We are looking for an experienced outstanding marketing administrator to join our growing team, which is collaborative, friendly and passionate about giving students more education opportunities, to play a key role in managing our marketing administration, lead management, campaign support, content creation, and reporting. This is a newly created 0.6 FTE role, working 3 full days per week, which will be initially offered as a 2-year contract with a potential to extend or become permanent in time.

About the Role:

This role is designed to support our growing marketing efforts and enhance our organisational capabilities. In this role, you will:

  • Manage and organise marketing calendars, schedules, and key dates.
  • Maintain and oversee marketing assets and documentation across various platforms (SharePoint, Canva, Google Drive).
  • Handle internal requests for images, branding, and other marketing files.
  • Coordinate social media imagery and manage cloud storage services.
  • Assist with event logistics, including lists, badges, and run sheets.
  • Track, qualify, and manage leads in the CRM system; pass potential leads to the donor team.
  • Support the development and execution of marketing campaigns (email, social media, events).
  • Load contact lists and manage EDMs; update CRM with contact changes.
  • Create and edit marketing materials (brochures, newsletters, social media content).
  • Assist with generating reports on marketing activities and campaign performance.
  • Propose and implement improvements to marketing processes and workflows.
  • Participate in team meetings and assist with implementing new systems and technologies.

The successful applicant will have

  • Excellent team support, administration and customer service skills
  • Proven experience in a marketing role, preferably with some experience in lead management or sales support
  • Degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience) preferred
  • Demonstrated experience and confidence using IT and CRM systems, ideally MS Office and Salesforce
  • Proficiency in marketing software and tools, e.g. Website CMS, Mailchimp, email marketing platforms, etc
  • Tech savvy with confidence and willingness to learn and try new innovations/systems
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing strategies is a plus
  • A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes
  • High-level attention to detail, organised and can meet deadlines
  • A strong can-do attitude - you’re proactive, driven, friendly, eager to learn, excited by new technologies and challenges of a growing organisation and ready to help the team during busy times.
  • Passion for the not-for-profit sector and education equity
  • Experience in NFP sector is preferred but not required

The successful candidate will be required to have a Working with Children's Check.
