About the team: 

As part of the Aspect Practice team, Aspect Inclusion leads Aspect to be a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for employees and service users through the development, delivery and monitoring of inclusion plans (Disability Access and Inclusion Plan, Reconciliation Action Plan, Multicultural Engagement Plan, and LGBTQIA+ Engagement Plan). We are a passionate and welcoming neurodiverse team who work in partnership with Autistic people to drive our inclusion initiatives.

About the role: 

Using your strong organisation and time management skills, you will provide administrative support to enable the Inclusion team to deliver on the initiatives being driven out of our Disability Access and Inclusion Plan, Reconciliation Action Plan, Multicultural Engagement Plan, and LGBTQIA+ Engagement Plan.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Act as the initial point of contact for Inclusion queries from internal and external stakeholders
  • Monitor and respond to queries in the Inclusion email inboxes (RAP, LGBTQIA+, Multicultural & DAIP)
  • Maintain membership lists and meeting schedule for Inclusion committees and send meeting requests using Outlook
  • Support Manager in drafting agendas for committee meetings; Disseminate agendas and minutes
  • Event coordination - Support the drafting of project plans and timelines for events; liaise with internal and external stakeholders; Arrange catering and set up for on-site flagship events
  • Order and/or prepare supporting materials and resources required for various Inclusion initiatives
  • Contribute to communication and promotion of projects and events across Aspect and externally
  • Research potential options for resources, events and guest speakers that are aligned with key dates in the Inclusion calendar
  • Maintain Inclusion Intranet and Internet pages with up to date information and resources
  • Process invoices for approval in the expense manager system

Skills and experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in an administrative role that includes liaising with diverse stakeholder groups, ideally also supporting the delivery of events or projects
  • Highly developed organisation & time management skills
  • Attention to detail & high level of accuracy
  • Experience in using Microsoft Office applications (specifically MS Word, MS Outlook and MS Excel)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Commitment to continuous improvement
  • Solutions-focused approach to addressing challenges (problem-solving)
  • (Preferred) Experience and understanding in working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities

A National Police Check clearance is a requirement and Aspect will arrange this.
