About Aspect Adult Employment Services: 

At Aspect our employment services are specifically designed to support autistic job seekers to develop the key skills to find and maintain long-term, meaningful employment. We offer extensive assistance with recruitment, job seeking, interview support, mentoring, and training, both for employers and participants, through a team of dedicated Mentors.

About this role: 

You will be responsible for supporting and leading the implementation of the Aspect Employment program, including collaborating to develop new and existing employment services, in a rapidly expanding area. You will work in close collaboration with the National Employment Coordinator, under the leadership of the State Manager for NSW, to drive improvement and growth of the service, whilst building relationships between Aspect and potential employers. Click here to view the Position Profile.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility of current and proposed initiatives
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Manage and develop relationships with Participants and stakeholders
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project planning documentation, including communication and delivery materials

Skills, experience and qualifications:

  • Relevant certificate, diploma or degree or substantial years of relevant project experience in the area of disability services and/or employment services. Specific experience with autism and/or disability employment services will be highly valued.
  • Proven working experience in project design and implementation
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, facilitate, promote and evaluate projects
  • Proven ability to build rapport and relationships with various stakeholders
  • Excellent Participant/staff-facing and internal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to organise and coordinate events
  • Good communication skills, both written and oral, including report writing skills
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Ability to coach staff to implement empowering practice to increase independence and achieve personal outcomes
  • Driver’s Licence valid in Australia and use of own vehicle for business purposes
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance for paid employment
  • Current NSW Working With Children Check for paid employment 

Completion of the mandatory NDIS Worker Orientation Module ‘Quality, Safety and You’ is required. If you have not already completed the module, click here to access it. You may also be required to provide an International Police Check.
