About the School:

The Aspect Riverina School is the eighth school established by Aspect. Our school began in 2005 with 12 students in satellite classes at St Patrick’s Primary School Albury, and Sturt Primary School Wagga. We currently have 62 students from Kinder through to Year 12 at the Albury Campus, 16 students at the Wagga Wagga sites, 15 at St Patricks Satellite Class, and 10 at Xavier Catholic High School Satellite Class.

About the role:

To do general maintenance work in a timely and professional manner to support the smooth running of the school and ensuring the school environment is safe and suitable for staff, students, volunteers, contractors and families. To view the full position profile, please click here.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • This role will carry out a range of tasks across the school which includes but is not limited to:
    • General building maintenance
    • Basic carpentry & plumbing
    • Painting and patching
    • Playground cleaning and grounds maintenance
    • Supervising third party contractors to complete work
    • Moving furniture
    • Looking after our buses (organising services, cleaning, checking tyres etc.)

Skills, experience and qualifications

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Good communications skills
  • Qualifications or experience in carpentry, plumbing, building etc. would be an advantage
  • NSW Working With Children Check clearance for paid employment
  • A current drivers licence
  • A Light Rigid (LR) driver's licence is desirable
  • You may be required to provide an International Police Check clearance

NSW Working with Children Check clearance for paid employment. A National Police Check clearance is a requirement and Aspect will arrange this.
