Our Corporate Communications unit provides advice and support in strategic communications, media management, digital communications and issues management, across the agency.

We are looking to recruit a highly developed communications professional to provide executive leadership and direction to our Corporate Communications Unit to deliver client-focused advice and assistance across a broad range of portfolio areas.

As a Senior Director you form part of a passionate and talented senior leadership team with the primary objective of providing strategic media, marketing and communications advice to the Chief Executive Officer and agency staff on communications, including media, marketing and digital activities, and communication projects.

Your key duties include leading and managing the Corporate Communications Unit; implementing, managing and evaluating targeted communication activities, and building strong professional networks across the agency, public sector and government, and non-government stakeholders.

This role will draw upon your high level strategic management and leadership experience, exceptional communication skills, including high level journalistic, writing and digital communication skills and your strong understanding of contemporary strategic marketing and public relations principles. You will be operating in a rapidly changing environment that will challenge your ability to juggle priorities and meet changing deadlines.

Relevant tertiary qualifications in an appropriate discipline or in senior media or communications position would be well received.
