Department of Territory Families, Housing and Communities, Greater Darwin have Team Leader positions vacant, in our Care & Connection teams. These positions provide statutory care and protection services to vulnerable children, young people and their families across Darwin, in the Northern Territory.

As a Team Leader you are responsible for supervising, developing and leading a team of professional staff, involved in the delivery of statutory and non-statutory services under the Care and Protection of Children Act.

To join our innovative teams, you require a relevant tertiary qualification, eligibility for membership to a relevant professional association, a solid understanding of the principles and functions of supervising staff in the delivery of statutory and non-statutory services, very well developed communications skills, assessment skills and the ability to implement our practice frameworks.

We require you to have sound knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture, family and community structures and an ability to communicate and work in a culturally safe framework.
