Non-Profit Promoter

Australian Progressive Media

about the role

We are looking for people to be involved in the initial promotion of our new projects, ‘Earth News’ and ‘HP3: The High Performance Political Party’. Both projects are concepts for organisations on the progressive side of politics. Our focus will be to introduce and promote these concepts to other progressive Australians.

Please visit our websites (earthnews.com.au and hp3.com.au) to see some of our recent concept and promotion videos. We would like any potential applicants to look at what we have done so far and be able to use this to inform their ideas for new and exciting ways to promote the projects.

We are looking for people with the following attributes:

  • A confident and extroverted personality that thrives off social interaction
  • The ability to be flexible and deal with ambiguity in a start-up, non-profit environment
  • The ability to understand and communicate the purpose of our organisation to a wider audience
  • Proficient in using social media and other online platforms
  • Demonstrate or express a strong commitment to progressive politics and related issues

Duties will involve:

  • Planning and executing targeted marketing campaigns across a range of platforms including social media, email, and phone
  • Arranging and meeting with potential project collaborators outside of the organisation
  • Producing and delivering fundraising campaigns across a range of platforms
  • Providing administrative and logistical support where necessary

The Australian Progressive Media office is located in Mitchell, ACT. We are a small but dedicated team who work flexible hours on weekday afternoons.

If this sounds like you, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. Please forward any questions to [email protected] using the subject line: Non-Profit Promoter enquiry via EthicalJobs.
