Australian Red Cross is recruiting Community Engagement and Accountability (CEA) Coordinators to join our international aid worker (delegate) register.
Australian Red Cross deploys (in-country and remotely) CEA Coordinators to both international emergency and recovery operations to support the Host National Society and IFRC operations teams to enhance the impact, reach and efficiency of emergency response operations through the integration and coordination of CEA activities and approaches.
CEA is at the core of Red Cross and Red Crescent programming and operations. It is an approach geared towards putting people and communities, vulnerable to and affected by crisis, at the centre of what we do. It encompasses a set of activities that embed and integrate participation, communication, feedback and learning throughout the programme cycle, in service delivery and in strategy development. The goal is to enable people and communities to lead and shape positive, sustainable change in their own lives, communities and society.
If you possess the skills and behavioural capabilities outlined in the attached job profile, are committed to the ethics and principles of the Red Cross Red Crescent Movement and are available to deploy internationally or provide remote support, we encourage you to apply.
Red Cross is built on the power of humanity. We believe in inclusiveness, diversity and equality and are committed to ensuring that our international workforce is a reflection of that. We encourage talented people from all backgrounds, abilities and identities to apply to our vacancies. We offer flexible working practices, including remote based opportunities and place delegate’s health and well-being at the forefront of the support we provide our international workforce.
