About the role

Across Australia, more than 1,000 people in their 70s, 80s and 90s have been paired with a volunteer through our buddy program, the Community Visitors Scheme. It’s been running for 30 years and is part of an umbrella of support to help older people stay well, connected and independent.

As our Community Visitor Scheme Officer Kimberley, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the program in the Kimberley including the induction, training, and matching of volunteers and clients.

What you will bring

  • Previous experience managing a volunteer led program would be well regarded
  • Proven highly developed organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent records management and general office administration
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office or similar software and experience using databases
  • Drivers Licence is required
