About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Recruitment Lead to join us and help make a difference by contributing to the re-design of our recruitment service delivery model.

This short-term additional resource has been created as part of the Recruitment Leadership team and will also support managers to recruit, select and on-board talented and committed staff to Red Cross, lead a team of Consultants and Co-ordinators and support other projects/activities. This role requires knowledge of a range of different recruitment team structures and models of operation (i.e. in-house, RPO), strong coordination, stakeholder engagement, risk identification and change management skills to ensure the successful delivery of outcomes.

What you’ll bring

• Proven senior recruitment leadership expertise in a high-volume internal recruiting team
• Strong ability to multi-task, prioritise competing demands and provide a high level of accurate and timely work
• Strong skills in navigating the features of an electronic applicant tracking system, preferably PageUp People
• Proven team player with excellent communications skills and a strong customer service ethos
• Proven track record in standing up strategic recruitment initiatives
• Strong ‘out of the box’ thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong ability to adapt and learn fast
