About the role

Red Cross is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to be part of the amazing Red Cross team here in Western Australia to lead our community programs area. This is a senior manager role and will be responsible for leading a motivated and dedicated team delivering a range of programs including Housing, Justice, Family Support, Community Visitors Scheme, Food security service, our renowned Telecross service and Aboriginal Place based services across Western Australia.

You will be part of a senior leadership team and contribute to the ongoing development of our organisational culture, provide thought leadership and be an active contributor to strategic and operational planning.  You will be financially savy and able to engage stakeholders strategically.  Most importantly, we are looking for someone with outstanding communications skills who is emotionally intelligent and very much an inclusive team player.

What you will bring

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and within a matrix management structure

• Senior leadership experience in a complex community service or service delivery organisation

• Demonstrated ability to develop, mentor, and coach staff and volunteers

• Demonstrated experience in developing strategic and operational partnerships and the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders at various levels

• Ability to develop and deliver innovative service and strategic initiatives within budget constraints

• Well-developed analytical, problem solving and decision making abilities
