Austcorp Executive

The Organisation

United Way Australia is proud to be one of nearly 1,800 United Ways in 41 countries and territories around the world. Globally, United Way has been improving lives and strengthening communities for more than 125 years. We are supported by 70,000 companies, including more than 280 Fortune 500 corporations, because we have a proven track record of positive impact and continuous innovation.

We believe that the postcode people are born in should not determine their destiny. Our approach is to unite community, business, philanthropy, government, and social purpose organisations to improve education and employment outcomes in communities of disadvantage.

Our model of change is to empower children and young people through flagship early childhood and youth employment initiatives. We also work to challenge the status quo in tackling complex social issues in vulnerable communities through collaborative partnerships with stakeholders, starting with residents.
