Australian Marist Solidarity is the international aid and development agency founded by the Marist Brothers in Australia. We work to ensure that young people in Asia and the Pacific have access to educational opportunities.

The role

You will work within a small, passionate and committed team, reporting to the Fundraising and Communications Manager. Your role will involve building and maintaining key relationships with a range of AMS supporters and engaging them with our work through a variety of platforms including digital media, publications and events.

Skills required

You’re a focused individual who enjoys producing work of the highest quality. You have highly developed interpersonal and communication skills and are able to build strong relationships with those around you. You will be an enthusiastic self-starter with a can-do attitude and a keen interest in community engagement and a passion for creating positive impact through your work.

You have a passion for social justice and you bring excellent communication and relational skills together with:

• Creativity, resourcefulness, adaptability
• Project delivery skills, working with a variety of stakeholders
• An understanding of campaigns, community engagement and events
• Ability to work well in a team but also independently
• The ability to work within a faith based, Christian ethos environment
