Australian Marist Solidarity is the international aid and development agency founded by the Marist Brothers Province of Australia. We work to ensure that young people in Asia and the Pacific have access to educational opportunities.

We work with local people on the challenges facing their communities, helping them access the skills and resources needed to develop quality education and leadership wherever they need it the most.

The role

In this position you will work within a small, passionate and committed team. You will be responsible for administering AMS’ financial systems and ensuring accurate recording, tracking and reporting of AMS’ financial operations.

Skills required

You’re highly organised, self-motivated and have an ability to work systematically with strong attention to detail. You have excellent organisation, time management and multi-tasking skills together with:

• Experience and competence using MYOB, with accurate data entry and processing skills
• Advanced computer skills and comfort working in a digital environment
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, general ledgers and financial reporting
• Ability to work well in a team but also independently
• The ability to work within a faith based, Christian ethos environment
