Australian Wildlife Conservancy (AWC) is the largest private (non-profit) owner of land for conservation in Australia, protecting threatened wildlife across a vast 6.5 million hectares in iconic regions such as the Kimberley, Cape York, the Top End and Kati Thanda-Lake Eyre. AWC is transforming conservation on the ground by deploying a practical, science-based model for conservation - one that is successfully halting the decline of Australia’s threatened wildlife and restoring our unique biodiversity. With 1,800 animals and plants now threatened with extinction there is a real urgency to do more. We have ambitious plans to secure the future of Australia’s biodiversity and we are now expanding our fundraising team to help us achieve our vision.
AWC is seeking a full time Database and Systems Officer to commence in early 2022. Reporting to the Development Operations Manager, the Database and Systems Officer will be responsible for the ongoing management of our Raiser’s Edge supporter database. In this role you will use your strong analytical capacity, and exceptional database management skills, to manage AWC’s data driven approach to mobilising donation revenue. In this role, you will work closely with our Development and Communications teams to do so.
In this important role, you will ensure the accurate and timely capture of data as well as undertaking sophisticated campaign analysis, evaluation and reporting. You will facilitate internal capacity building in data integration/analysis, while overseeing best practice procedures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data entry, maintenance, segmentation, production and reporting.
This is a rare opportunity to use your database management experience to be actively involved in protecting Australia’s endangered wildlife.
