About the Role

Our busy education & therapy support services team based in Mackay have an opportunity for an experienced and committed administration professional to join our leading multi-disciplinary team of specialist teachers and allied-health professionals who provide quality education & therapy support services to individuals on the spectrum & their families. 

This role will be responsible for providing professional administrative support to the Mackay team including but not limited to: 

  • Manage the day-to-day administrative functions of the AQ Mackay centre across multiple areas including reception duties, processing of payments and managing client session bookings;
  • Organise venues and catering and prepare and distribute agendas and minutes for meetings
  • Make travel arrangements for team members
  • Maintain client databases, files, NDIS claims, service agreements and other client-related paperwork as required
  • Manage data collection and provide reports for funding bodies and assist in preparation for audits
  • Deliver local orientation of AQ systems to new EST-NQ-Mackay staff

This role would suit a highly efficient, organised and experienced administrator with proven ability in supporting multiple professionals and clients effectively.  ​

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum Certificate II in Business Administration
  • Minimum 3 years’ demonstrated effectiveness working in an administrative role
  • Proven effectiveness in implementing efficient workflow, system and process improvements
  • Strong attention to detail, written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated numeracy skills with experience in financial administration including invoicing, purchase ordering and reconciliations
  • Microsoft Office suite proficiency, with intermediate to advanced skills in Outlook, Word and Excel as well as Adobe Acrobat

Highly-regarded:

  • Background in medical, education or community services administration
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, Cliniko and Netsuite systems
  • Experience with client databases, government online portals, project work, submission preparation
