About the Partner Organisation: 

Global Pulse established a Pulse Lab in Jakarta in 2012 in partnership with the Government of Indonesia. Pulse Lab Jakarta (PLJ) functions as an open innovation space where policy experts together with UN development practitioners and other partners can experiment with new types of data and emerging technologies and evaluate their potential to enhance both public policy decision-making and community resilience. Under the direct supervision of Pulse Lab Jakarta's Public Advocacy Manager and close coordination with the Partnerships and Advocacy Lead, the online volunteer will support the drafting, writing, editing and reviewing of various internal and external communication materials. These materials may include weekly social media content calendars, blogs, website content, policy briefs, talking points and press releases. They would also support with information management systems, presentation slide decks, concept notes and proposals, storylines and narratives for multimedia products.

About the Position: 

• You’ll be working with Pulse Lab to improve the quality of its copywriting particularly with focusing on strengthening their message globally.
• You’ll need a Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Journalism, English or a related field and have experience working in the communication field.
