Fundraising Specialist (voluntary) - East Bali Poverty Project - Remote

Australian Volunteers Program

About the assignment

We’re looking for a Fundraising Specialist who can volunteer remotely (from home) for 3 months. Join the Australian Volunteers Program to contribute to sustainable development across Indonesia.

The East Bali Poverty Project (EBPP) is a non-profit organisation helping the thousands of people living in abject poverty without water, sanitation, roads, schools, health facilities and electricity in East Bali. Their mission is to eliminate poverty and promote culturally sensitive, sustainable social and economic development in the impoverished rural communities of East Bali, Indonesia, prioritising the health, nutrition and education of children.

Digital Fundraising is becoming essential for non-profit organisations today, more so since the COVID-19 pandemic has required more online communication. One of the key elements for the organisation’s sustainability and success is in ensuring that they have sufficient funds to implement all of programmes to achieve objectives. Attempts have been made to recruit Indonesian staff for this position but we do not have a budget to fulfil the salary and allowances requests of experienced qualified & professional Social Media and Fundraising specialists.

  • The successful volunteer will work to develop a coordinated digital fundraising program.
  • You will require experience in the non-profit sector, ideally with a background in online marketing or digital fundraising.
  • This role will also ensure that local staff are trained in a way that will allow them to continue with the fundraising work in future.

We actively support and encourage people of all backgrounds and abilities to volunteer internationally and aim to make the program as accessible and inclusive as possible. - Find out more
