About the assignment

Kanlong Foundation caters to children, youth, and adults with special needs by offering programs across the life-span from early childhood to pre-employment. Part of their development is their mental health and well-being; this need is also true for their carers. Kanlong hopes to transcend a spectrum of limitation to unlimited possibilities by providing programs and different kinds of intervention and support for children, youth, and adults with special needs. With this, a volunteer is requested to assist Kanlong in improving its psychological assessment, wellness, and counselling program and in increasing the capacity of staff in best international practices in psychoeducational assessment, case management, treatment plan, counselling and overall program. This will equip the staff with additional knowledge and skills necessary to do and give their best work for the children, youth, and adults with special needs. The role will entail assessment, resource writing, and capacity building. You will be helping Kanlong Foundation build a better and brighter future for the special needs community here in the Philippines.

  • In this role, you will assist in developing the psychology program
