We’re looking for a Website Designer who can volunteer remotely (from home) for 3 months. Join the Australian Volunteers Program to contribute to sustainable development across Southern Africa.
Touch Roots Africa (TRA) is a non-profit organisation which was established in 2004 to respond to the growing demand throughout Lesotho for care and support for the growing number of orphaned and vulnerable children due to HIV, AIDS and poverty. TRA aims to strengthen the capacity of children, youth, community-based organisations, local authorities and service providers around care and support. TRA's vision is to be a sustainable socio-economic and development organisation and their mission is to empower people around their socio-economic needs.
TRA is looking to improve their online communication channels to further profile the organisation, its programs and more effectively tell the story of their work. Therefore TRA is seeking the support of a volunteer with in-depth knowledge and experience in web design, to help create a website for the organisation that is modern, engaging and better suited to their needs. Showcasing the work of the organisation through an updated website will support their fundraising efforts and profiling their work to others especially during these challenging times during the COVID-19 Pandemic, where an effective online presence is needed even more.
We actively support and encourage people of all backgrounds and abilities to volunteer internationally and aim to make the program as accessible and inclusive as possible. - Find out more
