Bayside Adolescent Boarding Incorporated (BABI Youth & Family Service) is committed to providing high quality, accessible and respectful services to young people experiencing homelessness or who are at risk or homelessness.

BABI Youth and Family Service has a vacancy for an Administration Officer for our Office in Wynnum. You would be responsible for managing BABI Office and all aspects of reception, medium level finance (in collaboration with Finance Manager) and business administration.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard working and driven professional who will be responsible for managing the incoming enquiries for our BABI Team. The right candidate will enjoy working within collaborative approach every day, respond and act on enquiries and tasks, move people through their individual journeys and provide high level and on time customer service.

Most importantly, we need team members who are passionate and have the ability to be organised, manage multiple stakeholders and communications at once and work at a high energy level is important.

Strong and sustained interpersonal skills are key in this role. The right person will need to enjoy communicating with people, as they will be the first point of contact for clients and relevant stakeholders. As ​​an integral member of the BABI team, the Administration Officer works with external stakeholders, young people with high and complex needs, family members, and others, to ensure enquiries are handled efficiently and accurately. You will also have the ability to assist with the internal processing of invoices.

If you are a highly organised and motivated person with experience in reception and Business Administration, especially within the youth/community sector, this job may be perfect for you.

The position is paid in accordance with the Queensland Community Services and Crisis Assistance Award – State 2008 (TPEO) at Level 3. The position requires you to work 31 hours per week over 4 days (Monday- Thursday).
