Balwyn Evergreen is looking for a part-time (1-2 days) Accredited Exercise Physiologist to join their dynamic team. This is a new role that will work with the Exercise Coordinator and Instructors to provide treatment that supports older people with their balance and strength goals with a focus on prevention for long term health outcomes. The role will also require content creation to run a strength and balance class specifically for falls prevention.

The person we are looking for:

• An Accredited Exercise Physiologist with ESSA Accreditation and minimum 5 years’ experience preferably with older people or aged care.
• Have HW093 Medicare registration (current or willing to obtain).
• Have excellent interpersonal skills for communicating with a diverse range of older people and sensitivity in working with a range of cultures.
• Be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and flu or hold a valid medical exemption certificate (evidence of vaccination status will be required prior to commencement of role.)
• Be eligible to work in Australia and be willing to undergo a police check.

Balwyn Evergreen employee terms and conditions are subject to the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award (SCHCDS) and the National Employment Standards. Remuneration for this role is pro rata pay classification level 4. Salary packaging is available.
