About the Role:

Our Aged Care facilities provide a safe, caring and nurturing environment for care recipients. Westhaven Community is located in Footscray. You will be required to provide our care recipients with an optimal level of care whilst considering their dignity, comfort and quality of life.

Duties Skills & Experience:

• Supports the Unit Manager in the delivery of Resident centred care: assessment, planning, documentation and evaluation
• Implement the intervention/s identified in the plan of care for each Resident & ensure the residents' response to these directives is evaluated, communicated & documented in the progress notes
• Facilitates a clear communication system between all members of the team & leads by example to promote a professional, compassionate approach to care
• Demonstrated experience of at least 1 year aged care or relevant nursing experience
• Commitment to keeping up with current professional practice and knowledge of industry standards
• AHPRA registration
• ACFI documentation
