About the Role:

Provide a staffing roster that competently meets the needs of the residents & enables the Residential Aged Care Facility to provide quality care and maximise individual consumer outcomes. The Roster Clerk must demonstrate a positive, efficient, and welcoming approach to customer service which represents the warmth and compassion of Baptcare's Wattle Grove Community.

Ideally you will have experience working within aged care with a proven ability to work co-operatively with a diverse, multicultural workforce and client base. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate a deep empathy for older people and family's making big decisions about long term care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high quality customer service to clients, families, staff, volunteers and visitors
  • Undertake general office administration duties in an accurate and efficient manner
  • Maintain a safe environment for visitors and staff through the implementation of Work Health and Safety policies and procedures
  • Roster assistance on daily basis
  • Maintaining roster
  • Working to fill vacant shifts and assisting in other roster related issues

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Proven ability to work co-operatively with a diverse, multicultural workforce and client base
  • Ability to review own schedule to manage priorities and the changing needs of residents
  • Ability to manage visitors, phone calls and computer work in a friendly and efficient manner
  • Commitment to working in accordance with Baptcare's values and Code of Conduct

Essential Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within aged care
  • Rostering experience
  • Certificate II or III in Business Administration (Desirable)


The successful candidate must have the following -

  • Satisfactory Police Check
  • Australian Driver's Licence
  • Flu Vaccination and Covid Vaccination + Booster
