The Position

+SHIFT is a healing program for women to explore family safety and viable alternatives to force in intimate relationships. We work to build empowerment, self-determination, safety and independence. 

If you want to work in an innovative, Australian first program supporting women who have been impacted by family violence and trauma, and use force in intimate relationships then this is the program for you. In this role you are part of a team working in partnership with families, children and young people and other support services for the best outcome for the family.

To be awesome in this role, you will have had experience in providing therapeutic group work and case management. You will see working in partnership, alongside the women we support, as an essential part of your practice.

About You

• Seriously good at supporting people, and running groups
• Experienced in working in partnership with women impacted by family violence and trauma
• Know about risk and risk management in this environment
• Be good with the paperwork, as well as the doing

Quals and that guff

• Tertiary Qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Youth work or other relevant Human Services qualification and/or experience
• Current Police Check (national and international if relevant)
• Current Working with Children Check
• Victorian Driver's License
• Current vacs (you know, the COVID thing)

• Remuneration starting at a SCHADS Level 5 which equates to $84,854, plus super and salary packaging Plus 10%  short-term contract loading
