About the Role

Are you looking for a dynamic, challenging part time role in Volunteer Coordination and with our Volunteer program? (2 days per week or equivalent hours) Location: Brookview Community, Westmeadows.

Duties, Skills and Experience:

  • Assist with management of Baptcare Volunteer Program and Volunteers for the Baptcare Community as required.
  • Assist with recruitment activities, induction and training of all Volunteers
  • Assist with day to day administration tasks for the Volunteer Program as needed
  • Work with Volunteer Coordinators to achieve our mission through managing and supporting Volunteers
  • Must be available 2 days per week for an immediate start
  • Volunteer management experience and understanding of the National & Global Volunteer Standards essential
  • Respond to Volunteer enquiries, requests for recruitment, including advertising, community outreach activities, interviews, security checks and onboarding & induction activities.
  • Work with Baptcare Staff and Lifestyle teams in our communities and programs to allocate Volunteers to roles and assist with resources for site and role induction
  • Complete all administration tasks pertaining to the volunteer program including updating of statistics records and communications as required. Must have good technology skills
  • Deliver training and induction as required & maintain credentials and training records and coordinate volunteers as needed
  • Work with the Baptcare volunteer program team to achieve team goals
