About your new role:

Working as part of our dedicated team means you will have the unique opportunity to enhance the well-being, comfort, and enjoyment of residents with a particular emphasis on providing a comfortable, clean, and homely environment. You will contribute to the physical and emotional well-being of our residents by partnering with them to be involved in household tasks as meaningful life activities.

Duties:

• Ensure rooms are kept clean and tidy through undertaking laundry and cleaning duties
• Replenishing of supplies from the storeroom including receiving and storing of goods
• Assist with moving large items around site including rubbish bins
• Comply with infection control measures and food safety requirements in accordance with company policies and procedures

Skills and Experience:

• Ability to pass a National Police Check
• Willingness to obtain or provide proof of Up-to-date Influenza & Covid-19 Vaccinations
• Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical
• Ability to complete a busy and physically demanding workload and respond to changing priorities
• Good time management skills
• Works well in a team environment
• Ability to engage residents through a person-centred approach to care and support
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to follow written and verbal instructions.
