About your new role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our dedicated residential team for night duty shifts. In Mundaring, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our residents pursuing their unique personal goals and passions, enabling them to live full and meaningful lives. This means understanding what matters most to our residents and working together to ensure we deliver on this commitment every day. 

Your role also includes:

• Facilitates communication in the workplace that supports flexible and creative work practices
• Liaises with visiting medical officers, allied health professionals, and other staff in order to provide ongoing care and the best outcome for the resident
• Leads by example through the implementation of evidence-based clinical practices in accordance with Baptistcare policies and practices and within the scope of practice as defined by AHPRA
• Responds in an efficient and professional manner to any quality issues and actively contributes to the continuous improvement system
• Maintains a high level of awareness regarding the requirements of Accreditation and ACFI

Skills and Experience

• Alignment to our Values and ‘Love to See’ behaviours
• Tertiary qualifications in Nursing and current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
• Willingness to obtain National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check
• Ability to pass a National Police Check
• Proven high level of clinical competencies with excellent clinical analysis, interpretation and planning skills
• Able to lead and influence others
• Demonstrated ability to lead a multi-disciplinary team in the delivery of person-centred support
• Sound understanding of care assessment and provision within the Aged and Health Care sectors
• Relates to the aged care population with empathy, understanding and respect
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
