About your new role

This is a great opportunity to get real world experience that you can add to your resume to set you apart from your peers.

Working very closely with the Occupational Therapist and/or Physiotherapist, as well as other stakeholders within the facility, the Therapy & Leisure Partner will be the first point of contact for our Telehealth service to our residents. This position will support our residents to maintain optimal functional abilities through the delivery of quality therapeutic interventions with residents under the supervision of the relevant therapist, including preparation, application and evaluation of programs and activities.

Roster: Negotiable

In order to join our team, you will be required to be fully vaccinated against COVID and Influenza, undertake a pre-employment medical, national police clearance and complete relevant background clearances.

Skills and Experience

• Must be in your second/third/fourth year of study in Physiotherapy.
• Commitment to providing a customer centric approach. 
• Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated understanding of person-centred principles and the ability to engage people in meaningful activity.
• Ability to complete busy workload and respond to changing priorities.
• Ability to work collaboratively and flexibly in a team environment.
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Valid Driver’s License (Car)
• Working knowledge of WH&S legislation and practice.
