We are a leading organisation offering a comprehensive suite of services to clients and the community across the Barwon, West Melbourne and Wimmera Regions. Providing specialist sexual assault and family violence programs and services, including 24 hour crisis care support, case management, therapeutic counselling, early intervention and professional education and training, we continue to grow and develop our offerings.
This full time position involves designing, developing and reviewing professional training and resources to ensure consistency, high quality and is evidence informed. You will also consult with our staff of skill specialist practitioners, to inform training content. You will deliver training primarily in the Barwon and Wimmera regions across the continuum from primary prevention through to response, as a sole or co-trainer.
You will be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of the causes of violence against women and children and the frameworks for prevention, early intervention and response. Ideally, you will have relevant training certifications coupled with qualifications in health promotion, social work, gender studies or public health.
With proven advanced communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, you thrive working both autonomously and collaboratively within a dynamic, team environment.
