The role

Reporting to the Manager Environment, we are seeking a Climate Emergency Coordinator who can bring their skills and experience for:

  • Community education and engagement
  • Renewable energy
  • Environmentally sustainable design and construction
  • Integrated water management
  • Waste education and the circular economy

About you

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Local government experience is desirable
  • A passion and demonstrated record of leading the transition to the zero-net greenhouse gas emissions new economy
  • Experience managing a small dedicated team of specialists
