Role Summary

The Business Intelligence Manager is responsible for the delivery of data analysis, reports and dashboards to support the organisation’s fundraising goals. Applying high level analytical skills, the Business Intelligence Manager will work closely with management to prioritise business and information needs and provide expert advice and project management for business intelligence activities.

This position oversees the management, quality, integrity and of the CRM and related software, prospect research activities and analytics workstreams. You will focus on synthesising a range of data and information sources into business insights and recommendations resulting in improvements in program and service deliverables, accountability, and effective decision-making.

Essential criteria and success factors of the role

We are looking for a strong leader with previous success leading, coaching and developing a team. The Business Intelligence Manager will have the ability to effectively engage, collaborate and deliver on agreed outcomes with a diverse range of stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.

Successful applicants will have the following experience:

  • Strong skills in business intelligence software, such as Tableau, Power BI.
  • Relevant degree with substantial experience in data analysis and business intelligence, preferably in a philanthropy environment and/or higher education environment.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills including the ability to anticipate, assess and implement strategic solutions.
