About the role

This exciting role will support the delivery of the Community fundraising strategy to grow, engage and retain the community supporter base and achieve income targets.

You will be part of a small team concentrating on developing, planning and executing multi-channel peer-to-peer/DIY campaigns and events using digital, social, direct mail and telemarketing channels.

Reporting to the Communications and Engagement Manager, the Community Fundraising Coordinator will be a people-person and enjoy building relationships with fundraisers including individuals and community groups to encourage support.

The focus of this role is on project coordination, agency and supplier management, content development, supporter relationship management and campaign analysis tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and effective community fundraising programs in line with company strategy
  • Provide regular reporting to monitor and evaluate fundraising results
  • Manage personalised community fundraising campaigns to acquire new donors and engage existing supporters
  • Establish and maintain community fundraising webpages
  • Create engaging content to encourage supporter interaction on social media platforms
  • Regularly review and develop donor journeys to excite supporters
  • Provide end-to-end customer service in-person at events and through digital channels for donors and volunteers
  • Act as the support and point of contact for peer-to-peer fundraising enquiries
  • Maintain database and ensure donor details are up-to-date

Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in fundraising, community fundraising is preferred
  • Experience delivering digital peer-to-peer campaigns
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and maintain beneficial relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proactive and strong work ethic, ability to work to a time frame and deliver results
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, Fundraisin, Campaign Monitor, Canva and Microsoft office programs is advantageous
  • Organised with the ability to multitask whilst working towards deadlines
  • Ability to work in a team as well as autonomously as required
