The Role

This role will work with a small team for an organisation that strives to raise awareness for those living with a lifelong illness whilst, using generous donations to provide support to families and those impacted.

This role will focus on strengthening community involvement and partnerships through the strategic delivery of exciting and engaging community fundraising campaigns. You will be the point of contact for renowned peer to peer fundraising initiatives and community groups as well as interacting with potential leads through social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging effective community fundraising campaigns
  • Identify strategic opportunities to grow revenue and acquire donors
  • Point of contact for fundraising enquiries
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with members, donors and other key stakeholders
  • Strengthen and grow the brand to increase awareness
  • Support and motivate participation in peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns across various channels
  • Create digital content to encourage community engagement through social media platforms

Skills & Attributes

  • Demonstrated experience in fundraising particularly community fundraising and partnerships is preferred
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to create beneficial relationships with various stakeholders
  • Highly competent across social media platforms
  • Ability to work effectively in a small team
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication
  • Solution-focused and motivated to identify opportunities for growth
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work within a time frame to deliver results
  • Experience with CRM/Salesforce
